Suzuki Ignis - a five-door hatchback, which is positioned by the manufacturer as a subcompact crossover. The second generation of the model has been produced since 2016. IN In February 2020, Suzuki introduced a restyled version of the model, which appeared in Ukraine at the end of summer 2020.
With an overall length of 3700 mm and a wheelbase of 2435 mm, Suzuki Ignis received short front and rear overhangs, a sharply “truncated” stern, a ground clearance of 180 mm, wheel arches, the shape of which is emphasized by stampings, and unusual serifs on the rear pillars of the body. In general, the car received an original design that stands out against the background of most cars on our market, especially if you choose one of the bright body colors.
The car is equipped with a hybrid system SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki). Its feature is starter-generator (eng. ISG - Integrated Starter Generator), which quickly and smoothly starts the engine after stopping as part of the Start / Stop system, and also helps the internal combustion engine during accelerations. The ISG is powered by an additional lithium-ion battery. During braking, the starter-generator switches to recovery mode and charges not only its “own” lithium-ion battery, but also the on-board battery.
How the SVHS system works:
System SHVS on Suzuki Ignis added to petrol "aspirated" 1.2 Dualjet 83 hp and 107 Nm. Transmissions to choose from - 5-speed "mechanics" or CVT. The drive is only front-wheel drive, although in Japan this model also comes with all-wheel drive, which is offered there for a surcharge.
Suzuki Ignis is produced in Japan.
